We've just returned from a very relaxing break at our apartment. Whilst there we took the opportunity to have a look around to see the latest developments on the resort and the surrounding area.
Things have certainly changed within the resort with the bar and restaurant now open for business. Along with a brand new, well stocked, supermarket and completed changing rooms the centre at HRGR is now looking very inviting. The garden area is almost finished and the new Pro Shop should be open very soon.
Sucina seems to be changing as fast as the resort. Two new restaurants (one Indian, one European) have opened along with a brand new supermarket. The roundabout from the RM-1 (Junction 11) to the MU-301 has now been completed making the journey a little safer. RM-1 Junction 13 has seen the ramp built to HRGR however a technical problem seems to be holding up its final commission so the journey to the resort is still longer than it should be. It is hoped that the junction will be completed next month cutting the journey time to Sucina and beyond.
Finally we have our new sunshade on the terrace which is a godsend even in September. We've bought a number of other items to extend the facilities in our flat and each bedroom now has a chair.
Finally, finally, whilst there it was announced that Paramount are going to build a theme park in the Murcia area and our resort is ideally placed to be used as a base for anyone wishing to visit it.
Things are really moving fast in Murcia!!
